Care and Social Assistance - Geographic Area Series.
US Census Bureau. The Health Care and Social Assistance sector (sector
62) of the 1997 Economic Census provides the summary statistics data

provisions of the Internal Revenue Code. Here includes separate report

U.S. County Economic
Typologies
Economic Research Service. This typology classifies rural counties
based on primary economic activity. The six nonoverlapping types are
:farming-dependent, mining-dependent, manufacturing dependent,
government-dependent, services-dependent, and nonspecialized. Also,
rural counties are classified based on five overlapping policy types:
retirement-destination, Federal lands, commuting, persistent poverty,
and transfer-dependent.
